Half chicken plate not good. Chicken was way undercooked and greasy. Sweet potato fries tasted like the cooking oil they we’re fried in hadn’t been changed on a week. Baked beans were too mushy. Cornbread was thick and heavy, not light and fluffy. The tea was good and the key lime pie was very tasty however. Service was good and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. Because of the poor quality of the food, I won’t be coming back here again.

Amazing food for a cheap price. The best part is the plates are huge! Also their cornbread is very good and they give you a big piece of it.

The food here is decent. The BBQ meat is good production BBQ. Either they didn't have s vinegar cause or they have added one which is pretty good but no heat, the other sauces are sweet! The BBQ is really tasty by itself and this is a good restaurant with good service and plenty of room and capacity for groups or parties. The wait staff is upbeat and ready to help always. It

Happy Hawg had been a local favorite of mine for several years. Food is cooked to order, and the staff is very friendly. Definitely worth trying if you have never been.
